Customize Orders with Item Notes
Capture the details that make every order right.
Not every item is one size fits all. In high touch categories like meat, seafood, and produce, the smallest details can make the biggest difference, like extra firm avocados or steaks cut thick.
With line item notes, operators and DSRs can add per-item instructions and details directly in the cart before checkout. Notes flow through fulfillment, order exports, confirmation emails, and order history, keeping everyone perfectly aligned from order to delivery.

Notes can be either memos for the customer that’s saved until the next draft order (“order double next week”) or one-time requests for the distributor (“cut steaks extra thick please”).

Swapping out items in order agent just got faster and easier - with more context available without changing screens.
The new in-line swap experience keeps everything in one place. Users can swap items while viewing the original order, with pre-populated groups to quickly surface the correct match. Substitutes and previously ordered items are available without searching or ever touching the ERP.

Create Multiple Order Guides From your ERP Integration
More flexibility in Order Guide management.
Many distributors have a mix of order guides in their internal systems - Pepper now supports them all. Curate the right set of products for every customer, whether seasonal, menu specific, or location based. Sync distinct guides with unique names, IDs, and settings directly from your ERP workflows, unlocking powerful new use cases without added effort.

PAD Payments Now Available
Canadian payments made easier.
Collections should feel effortless. Pepper now supports Pre Authorized Debit (PAD) payments, allowing customers to securely authorize automatic withdrawals from their bank account.
Set up once, and payments process automatically, reducing manual follow ups and making recurring billing smoother and more reliable.

PAD payment method is available for all Finance Hub Lite, Pro, and Enterprise customers.
