Welcome to the spice cabinet! In these monthly updates, we’ll keep you informed on everything new in the Pepperverse.

In this edition: Credit requests, seeing customer behavior, and easier price editing for reps.

Endlessly Configurable Credit Requests

Our new credit request upgrades give sales reps and customers even more power in how they submit, manage, and track credits:

The process is faster and fully digital, configurable to your standards and approval processes. Operators can easily submit credit requests directly from their phone or desktop by scanning a barcode or entering an item code. 

They can attach invoices, add notes, and select reason codes such as Damaged Product or Refused Product, making the process fast and transparent for everyone involved.

Availability

Enhanced credit request workflows are available to all customers with an eCommerce Enterprise subscription, and require an update to your Pepper/ERP integration. Check in with your Customer Success team on how to activate.

See What Your Buyers are Browsing 

With Items of Interest in DSR Connect, sales reps can see which products customers have been browsing, clicking, or adding to their carts over the past 30 days.

These insights make it easy to identify buying signals and uncover opportunities without digging through reports. Reps can approach conversations with more context and sell based on what customers are already showing interest in, and turn browsing data into meaningful sales.

Items of interest are available for everyone with a DSR Connect Pro subscription! Check account details.

Catchweight Price Editing for Reps

Products sold by variable weight, such as seafood, meat, or produce, can now be priced with greater accuracy. Reps can edit catchweight prices directly in Pepper, and those updates automatically sync across orders and analytics. This keeps pricing consistent, protects margins, and saves time that would otherwise be spent fixing discrepancies later.

Availability

Catchweight price editing is available for anyone with catchweight items and a DSR connect enterprise subscription. Contact your CS rep to learn more.

Profit Metrics that go beyond Pepper

With Holistic Analytics, you can now see a complete picture of profitability across every order channel, including those placed manually or outside of Pepper.

Profit metrics are available from the “For You” Page as well as the DSM dashboards from the representatives screen in PMC. Data from your ERP and Pepper come together in one unified view that automatically calculates gross profit percentage (GP%) for all orders. You get a clear, real-time dashboard showing how your business is performing without the hassle of piecing together spreadsheets.

Holistic analytics are available to anyone with invoice integration and need an update to your Pepper/ERP integration to get started.

Find Accounts Faster

The account switcher just got more powerful! It now includes a multi-select dropdown filter for customer groups, making it easier to apply more filtering options directly within the account switcher.
